Vivo announces two new smartphones Vivo V1 & V1 Max in India

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has just showed up two new lineup of smartphones Vivo V1 and V1 Max, soon to be hitting the Indian shelves. The company putted them in a price bracket of 15000-20000 INR, where already holds existing dominant Xiaomi Mi4.


Vivo, on the launch of "V" series smartphones quoted:
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new smartphone series. With ‘V’ series we bring unbeatable proposition, price and products in the mid-segment category. Our first device in the category, Vivo V1 incorporates cutting-edge technologies, exclusive music features and the highest quality camera shots.   
However, Vivo just unveiled the specifications and availability of Vivo V1, not raising any curtains on V1 Max. But it is expected to be unveiled soon enough after the release of V1.

Now lets take a look at the tecnical specification of Vivo V1:

  • 5-inch HD IPS display 
  • Quolcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset
  • 1.2 GHz Cortex A-53 Quad-core 64-bit processor
  • Adreno 306 GPU
  • 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 128 GB expandable storage via micro SD card
  • Android Lollipop v5.0, FunTouch UI
  • 13MP primary auto-focus camera with LED flash
  • 5MP secondary camera
  • 2300 mAh Li-Ion battery  
Hardware & OS:
Vivo V1 is powered by Qulcomm Snapdragon 410 1.2 GHz cortex A-53 quad-core 64-bit processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. It has lastest Android v5.0 Lollipop, skinned with Vivo's custom FunTouch UI.

Display:
Vivo V1 features a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display having pixel density of ~294ppi. Company didn't revealed anything about the protection coating but it is expected to have a protective coating of either gorilla glass, or dragontail glass. 

Camera:
It has a 13-MP auto-focus primary camera with LED flash, whereas it has wide-angle 5-MP secondary shooter with 6P Lens and f2.0 aperture. Other features like night mode, panorama, geo-tagging & face detection also comes handy with the device. 

Storage:
Vivo puts an internal storage of 16 GB, which can be expanded via microSD card slot upto 128 GB.

Connectivity:
It supports dual-sim functionality & 4G connectivity, also has Hi-Fi music play. Other connectivity features include Bluetooth v4.1 A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and microUSB v2.0.

Price & Availability:
Vivo V1 will cost around INR 15,000 as already said by the company and might be available at the end of july or in the first week of august.

Yet, we haven't any clue on the technical specifications, and pricing of Vivo V1 max but according to rumors V1 Max might get unveiled after the launch of V1.
